Default People selling trucklites?

Why is everyone getting rid of their trucklite headlights? I've seen numerous for sale here lately

Good question. The only thing I can figure is that the cold-state people might be swapping for the updated model with the self-defrosting lens assembly?

Or, has something better hit the market? (I don't consider the KC's better, just a different beam pattern)

I sold mine because to me, the $400 was better spent elsewhere once I saw the difference for myself.

People probably realized how little they actually use the headlights on their jeeps. I bought a set in December and have loved having them as I work where I'm driving home in the middle of the night every night. Next month I'm changing shifts to a regular 1st shift schedule and I may not turn the headlights on for months at a time. I'm actually debating selling mine due to that reason.

I was thinking along the lines of that, people not getting their money's worth.

Who's selling heated versions of these lights? I'm pretty close to buying a set for my '14 but would consider the heated ones.

Thanks.

As you can see, the opinions will vary wildly on the topic. If I was completely done (if possible) with my jeep, i would put some more in. But that $400 bought me a new tie rod and drag link, better use for me at the time.
