Add another one. Mine is a 2013 with 58xxx miles.

Northwest Jeep quoted me $650 for clockspring replacement.

I'm just going to have to find a way to disable the chime for now and hope I don't get in an accident.

You might want to check around at a few other dealers. My local dealer replaced mine for $380 with a parts and labor 3 year warrantee.

Add me to the list. My 2010 JK began flashing the ESP / BAS light a couple months back. Last week the Airbag light and chime began to appear intermittently. I called my dealer, he suggested calling FCA. They were not at all helpful and essentially told me that recalls are based on NHTSA complaints.

My tracking number assigned by NHTSA for this issue is 10850922.

Any updates on this , it just started happening with my 07 JKU . It would be one thing if it dings every 30 minutes but its literally every minute !!!!!

Is this something a mechanic can replace , anyone know the labor time involved in this . I might have someone other then a dealership fix because i dont want to pay $500

Tons of info on install here and other places, very simple. Most report 60min or so to complete.

The chime does go away too, only at startup. At least on my 07 it did. Still haven't replaced, been since 2011.
