Plastic Windows
I know there's probably another thread about this but I'm riding down the road right now...what's the best way to clean them...is there any type of Polish or anything you can use
Use a microfiber cloth so you don't scratch them. Use dish soap and water to remove the heavily soiled areas.then finish off with a plastic window cleaner. I picked up mine from the dealership for $10 - $15 bucks. I cant remember. This will clean the window a bit more, fill in fine scratches, and leave a uv protection behind.
I use mcguires plastic cleaner and their protectant on my soft top windows. Cleans them real good and the protectant is like a wax that keeps them good to go. You can get it at walmart or O'reilly's.
The very best stuff I have found through the many years of owning
a rag top are those made by Plexus Plastic Cleaner & Polish.
there are 4 different types depending on the degree of dirt
and the depth of the scratches.
You can find them on line at a good price, better than the
auto parts stores, but if you need it quick the best places
to shop for it in boat supply stores... Yes, I said boat.
And it's a testament to it's worth when folks who live
in an environment of salt water and constant sunshine
swear by it.
Hope this helps.
