Post Wheeling/off-roading check up
After a couple of hours of off roading on bumpy trails, people say check your lugs and nuts. They could become loose and may need to be fastened. Also, they say check your undercarriage, for any dings and dents.
Could someone please make it clear to me, what to check for.
Which lugs and nuts do you usually check to see if it needs tightening.
Also what are the key components you usually take a look at, to see if any damage has been inflicted. (ie: oil pan.. etc)
Sorry for the newbie question, I'm still a newbie regardless of what my status says on this forum.
Thanks for all the help!

Ya know it would be nice to have a place for some shared documents like the one talked about here. Then we could direct member to the Library
Sam.
EDIT I'd be happy to do some editing of the document.

For me, I usually wash it after wheeling and then check for any obvious damage. I'll crawl underneath and check control arms, shocks, skids and brake lines. I also at the very least, check the lugs on my wheels and the bolts on my front and rear trackbars. If I have more time I also check the shocks, swaybar links and control arms.
And Toad, that would be a great idea to add something like this in the FAQ's
