Lol agreed. This is a total waste of $5k. I could see if being an option for the soccer mom for a couple thousand, but not 5k. That's the ultimate in lazy.

I think RR is smart to make this product. Most of us do not want to admit it, but JK's are very popular with the soccer moms, mall crawlers, etc. They will eat these tops up! Jeep will probably make it a factory option in the very near future.

Would I buy it? Not for $5k, because that money could be easily spent on much nicer mods.

BUT...What if it was factory, or cheaper. Would any hardcore guys be interested?

hmmmm auto top or fully loaded ProRock? choices.... ^^^agree with you on that. I'd get this if my mom and dad had a wrangler they would never put the top down otherwise.

I can see people getting this. It is a chore for me (athletic, 6 foot 180) to put up or down the softtop on my unlimited. I cant tell you how many times I have pinched my fingers .

I would never get it. But for a soccer mom, someone with phisical disabilites or bad backs, shorter people, older, etc.

For $5k you could get a monkey, train him to lower your soft-top and when he's done, you still have a monkey!!!
