Haha, awesome. A monkey doing for $5k would at least add an entertainment factor.
If a power soft-top were an available $2000 option at the dealership on my next jeep, I'd still pass. -AND I have a bad back! And am only 5'10" haha
Seriously, soft top removal/replacement is kind of a PITA, but I think it comes with the territory. -Or am I just a cheap @ss?

Monkey is a good ideal, Clint Eastwood had a trained Orangutan that was pretty cool.

Thumbs up

I'm 21 years old, 5'5", and 135lbs and I can have my doors off my JKU and in my room in 5 mins, and my top down and unscrewed in another 5 mins sitting in my dorm.

BUT if it was an option for $200-$500, I might think about getting it on my next JK. That's only because I'm lazy.

Not at all, I have no issue with the manual top. How would they automate the doors coming off?

300 bucks worth of top material, so the electric motor costs what, 4,700? Something tells me the price could come down by a few thousand easily but they
are gouging people who want this now!!! It won't be long til jeep does this from the factory. After a new motor and interior, they will need something
in the coming years that seems like an "improvement/ new feature. Just my 2c.

Clyde only knew how to make right turns though.

I don't like it at any price for a lot of reasons. The lack of rear windows is one of them.
