That green cj2a is amazing!

A while back my wife and I had gone on a trip through India. While there I noticed a lot of older Jeeps and a lot of Mahindras that looked exactly like CJ3A's and CJ3B's. So out of curiosity one day I stopped by at a Mahindra dealer in Mumbai. What I found out was that Mahindra was in contract with Jeep to build their vehicles in India. Not only that but up until 2007 they were still making the old Willys cj designs as brand new jeeps. These were niche vehicles and they had a full lineup of regular suv's also. So it seems this sort of thing is done in other countries but just not yet in the US when it comes to Jeeps.

The wrangler/cj has never really strayed from it's roots, minus the square headlight yj. I was talking more about a styling package, like the old renegades, loredos, scramblers, and even that levi's edition. Remember the wyllis tht they released a couple years back, granted it was just green with some stars, but I liked it.

The styling packages definitely have an appeal to them. But personally I wouldn't buy just a styling package. I would want a full release of an older vehicle.
