Thanks Yeah I still think I would be better off with the old school steel because of the dry rotting I'm reading about in threads in synthetic also I heard you also have to clean it well from mud everytime.

My Rugged Ridge XHD 8500lb winch came with a fairlead that has the holes for mounting the lights. I opted not to use it, because I bought the flip up license plate bracket to cover the fairlead. So, I had to purchase a Mile Marker fairlead to use it.

If you want the fairlead with the holes, I would be willing to sell mine for $50 shipped if you are interested.

As for the XHD bumper, I love it and it was very easy to install. One tip, though, install the winch before you install the bumper. it is a little cumbersome if you install it afterwards.

Thanks the installation is basically just the 8 nuts that I used to removed the stocker correct?

Yeah. You can do it by yourself in about 90 minutes, but if you vet someone to help it takes about 40 minutes. Good luck and post some pics when your done

I am now a believer in this bumper.. A 2500 Ram pickup hit me and ran this morning...
Ripped off my front drivers flare and really whacked the bumper.... there is a bunch of blue paint on my bumper from his rear quarter and a small gash in the powdercoating.. I really felt the impact and thought I was going to find the bumper bent into my tire, but it didnt budge. I havge the extended ends installed and they took a big hit this AM.
Pics to follow

EDIT: It is hard to see the blue on the bumper, these are cellphone pictures and dont show very good color detail
