I said we have a deal or I'm leaving. I left, and manager followed me. Timing is everything. I think you got a great deal on a redone Rubi that they probably should of held on to for more money this early in the game. However, someone else will get a better deal when they release the new Pentastar. Not to mention someone getting a used one with 500 miles for even less. Be happy with your deal and enjoy your new Jeep.
That is probably the best way to tell that you got a good deal that I have heard. The money you don't pay comes out of their paycheck.

Just out of curiosity, and off topic, how much difference does end of the month actually make? I rolled into dealership 10 minutes before their Saturday "close" on February 28, 2009 (no sales on Sunday in CO). Test drove the jeep, and finished up around an hour and a half after close. I told them if it wasn't done then and soon, I would just buy one up in Denver from a dealer I was emailing since I was going to be up there on the following Monday anyways. That seemed to cut through the bs pronto, with their second offer the one I took after I laughed at the first one.

Default Enjoy it, yes, but it is important to compare dealers.

Lake Norman Chrysler Jeep Dodge (NC) = Rip off. We had a deal, I traded my current vehicle and was in a loaner. I was happy with the pricing (could sleep). Then they couldn't deliver the bought jeep. This led to other BS excuses on substitute jeeps until I finally started calling around to other dealers with the current SIGNED contract I had. Since they couldn't deliver, they voided, but I had the specifics like dealer fees etc. Apples to apples, I saved 5K....!!!! in almost an hour of calling around. Got my fav color instead too...JEEP GREEN All things considered, it was striking to know that I almost got had for 5K. It got worse, I brought back the loaner, and asked for my old car back....illegally, they sold it already and had to "unsell" it. They are not allowed to sell your trade until the deal is complete and I was still in a 2wd loaner (ppffffftttt). Now, the other dealer was eager to just beat the current dealer, and I didn't divuldge cost, just fees and asked what he could do. He wiped the floor with the other guy and I LOVE MY 09 SAHARA! I miss her too while overseas

but these guys are right when it is about enjoying her. Can't even understand how I existed without my jeep.
