A Quick Take on Why the Two-Door JK Reigns Supreme

I have to agree with the top and doors off the two door looks better. I currently have a two door and love it but there just isn't space to being my wife, two kids and dog on camping trips. I am also more limited on towing my camper which just exceeds the two door capacity. All these reasons are why I just ordered a 2017 JKUR to replace my two door. I will miss the look of the two door but can't wait for the extra space.
That's awesome! Next time we drive up Carrizo Mtn you can take it and avoid those teeter-totter moments! ;-) Video Link: https://youtu.be/7Z3_SI8axpE?t=452
Haha! Yeah right! My wife will be too afraid to get it scratched!
stock the 2 door looks better hands down. Lifted with big tires they both look good but the 4 door looks a bit tougher. I bought a 2 door and didn't even give consideration to a 4 door. I don't have kids anymore and if I want to haul my grandkids or other people just take my Silverado. For the most part I wouldn't give consideration to a jeep jk as an only daily driver anyway. Its more of a second vehicle/utv/hunting rig to me. For that purpose the smaller size, lighter weight, and tighter turning radius make the 2 door the hands down winner.
when i bought my 2011 jk it was a 2 door i traded up for a 2012 rubicon , i had the option of ordering anything i wanted 4 door or any options. I went with a bare bones 2 door no bells or whistles , manual windows and door locks tinted rear windows and a engine block heater due to i live in a colder climate of the USA
I never have more than myself or a passenger in the vehicle so my back seat was removed day one. Its only for gear needed like a utv hunters rig so i rarely have to go back there for anything. I put racks on the back of mine for stuff i need to carry on daily basis , which works out nicely for me. I like the 4 doors as well in some cases when dressed up right same with 2 doors . But i cant see me in a 4 door even though it has more room. To me The compact simplicity of a jeep is the fact that it can maneuver in tight quarters much like the military had in mind for its design. To me the 4 door is to long for that aspect. Not that they dont have more room benefits . For me the 2 door has been the right choice even though @ times ive muttered the words i should have gotten the 4 door maybe lol it was only a rare moment when trying to get under the rear window

I have had both and love them both for different reasons.
I currently have a wife and 3 boys. When we go hunting/fishing/camping/vacationing I need the room for all my, and their, stuff. Also, kinda required to have 3 seat belts. We bought a bare-bones JKUS for the fun/economy.
But when they're all gone it'll probably be traded for a 2-door Rubi.
