It's all personal preference and I'm glad we still have the choice of both. Just think of how many vehicles that you don't have a choice between 2 or 4 door options and different wheel base choice as well to go along with it.

The reason I quoted your section above is that in these silly 2 vs 4 door debates, I always reflect back that I've read many posts where someone with a a 2 door has said, I like my 2 door, but often "I wish I had gotten the 4 door instead." I really haven't heard anyone say, "I wish I had gotten the 2 door instead of the 4 door."

I've had both, an '09 2 door X and currently a '13 JKUR. Whover compared it to the blondes vs brunettes debate is 100% deadon. Apples and oranges. Each has their pros and cons. If you're asking me though, I'll take my JKUR anyday of the week.

While it is my first Jeep (and I've loved Jeeps since I first remember) I own a 4-door. And I love it. I have a wife and 2 kids so it just makes sense but comparing it to a 2-door?... nope, not for me. I love it for many reasons and I'm sure the 2-door can hold it's own but in the end it's all personal preference so neither is better than the other.

You just might have to be a little creative if you need to carry much more ...

Just a note: if you scout around youl read some that prefer the 2 door and went back to one as well after owning a 4 door . But seriously i could care less what others drive its all about what works best for the individual . quote me for replying to a thread just to say you feel a 4 door sale has less regret if given the opertunity to swap for a brand new 4 door id still pass on it . For my needs, whatever floats your boat maybe 6 doors

*someone quoted this -I had a 2010 Sport 2 door and loved it. Daughter and her 2 kids moved in so I now have a 2011 Sport Unlimited. I miss my 2 door - very nimble.

This is what my 2 door looked like a few weeks ago on a trip up to the mountains. Brought a woman and a kid and lots and lots of toys.

Default 4 doors are family cars, almost the van type - 2 doors are for the rest of us

I am now waiting for the well deserved nuclear weapon drop on my doorstep........cheers!
