Im looking to plan a 2 day wheelin'/ camping trip sometime in the fall. The only time that I have availible to do so is on weekends. Has anyone ever been on the weekends? About how busy is it? I dont want to book it and have to wait around for other people to clear before hitting every trail. I know there is 3,000+ acres but still... Thoughts?

From my understanding yes it gets busy but the park is so big. That. It never gets that busy where you are waiting around. I am planning a trip there as well for the fall was thinking octoberish with some friends. Mate we could all plan the same time and meet up always looking to meet other jeepers.

I went on may 5th the parking lot was packed and there was a comp course event going on. We were out on the trails from 10 am to 3pm and only saw one other group until the end of the day when we were on the trail heading to the parking lot.

Id be interested in tagging along with a jeep or two from around my way if this is a open invitation event lol

So how many people are seriously interested in meeting up at Rausch creek then one weekend this fall?? Let me know and we can make this happen. If it works well once maybe we could make it an annual thing??
