Rear diff flush

Flushing out my rear diff fluid and wondering if I need to replace the seal with a new one or just new silicone? It's for an 08 Sarah

what seal are you talking? just drain via the drain plug and refill with the top fill plug? If your taking the dif cover off, yes you will need to re-rtv or use a lube locker.

If your removing your diff cover you will need new rtv or a lube locker. Does the cover need to be removed, no. It it was me I would just drain through the plug.
