Default Rear seat- Can we recline it at all???

I am wondering if anyone has figured a way to recline the rear seat a few degrees. The rear seat back is almost straight up and it would be a bit better for the kids if I could angle it back. Anyone have any ideas?

I've looked at this myself, but I don't see any way to adjust it unless you redid the floor mounts. You'd have to move the seat forward some and lift the fronts, but again, no idea how you would do this and keep it safe as I'm sure it has specific mounting points.

i haven't recieved my rubi yet, but have read some posts and reviews where the back seat passenger comfort was affected by the angle. so i've been thinking that would be one of my first mods. what stops the seats from angling back further presently? if it's a metal stop, can it be ground down a bit? can the front legs be shimmed up. I did the shim bit on my old cj5 on the driver seat. worked great.

Gonna subscribe to this thread for sure. My 3 year old looks very uncomfortable when shes asleep in the carseat. Funny thing is that the carseat seems to fit perfectly. If there was only a little recline, her head wouldn't fall forward so bad. I wonder if a little lift on the front suspension would help. Hmmm...wife may go for that....heck might as well lift it all the way around.

I am hoping I will have time in April to take a look at this.

has anyone found a solution for this yet? still cold (and snowing) here in Michigan, but as the warm weather comes, this is my first priority. i'm hoping it's an easy fix. maybe just re-drill a hole into the bracket to set the seat back farther. might even have to get another bracket made from a fabrication shop.
