I was always jealous of that RI 2 year rule. Here in Mass, you have 2 weeks... brand new or not!

I just did this to my mirror yesterday. It helped some, still in the way a bit, but not as bad as before. I guess I will just have to live with it.

It drives me crazy. I loosen the screw and take it off as needed when I drive. It is usually in my center console. I don't think that it is illegal if you have both side mirrors.

It's a Jeep thing.

Checking the blind spot at your 2 o-clock becomes automatic after a while, not to mention the nice stretch your neck gets. It's good for your posture.

The rear view in the way was the first thing I noticed as being different than my TJ when I got the JK. I have gotten used to it now and I guess I mentally block it out. The second thing that distracted me was the hood latches stick up in your view over the hood. They didn't do that in the TJ.

I have no clue about Cali, but in CO i got tickets for a blocked, then a missing rearview.

I am about 90% positive it has to be there in NY. But i would have to ask around to be sure.

Pretty much everywhere you go. If it came with it. It has to stay there.

That's interesting. Yet it doesn't have to be functional. Trucks & campershells come to mind.

I spun it around as well, and it helped a lot. However I'm 6'2" and still have to duck to see the stop lights.
