Remote Start Question
I tried something this evening and learned something I didn't know. After getting into my 2012 JKU, I hit the remote starter. I hit the unlock button on my remote and the speed of the fan decreased greatly. I tried it again and realized that when you use auto start the fan comes on full blasé regardless of the dial setting and the defrost comes on automatically as well. This is great because I don't have to remember to set the fan and turn on the defrost when I park in the evening. My question is, does the auto start also adjust the temperature adjustment automatically based on the temp outside? Or do I need to make sure that is set when I part?
From what I've heard the temps are anything below 40F it will turn heat and defrost on full, anything above 80f will turn in A/C full all regardless of setting, I haven't seem the cold work but the heat defiantly does.
My jeep is a 2012 as well and for the first winter I had it the heated seats would come on with the remote start but this year it doesn't I earlier in the year I thought it wasn't cold enough but still as it gets colder they don't turn on could I have shut something off or maybe it is just a glitch in my system. it was nice and I'm starting to miss it
