I bought a a 2009 jeep unlimited 4 door. I had no clue how to use the sun rider or just peel the top back. I got a friend to help me who supposedly knew all about jeeps. He forced my top up on the passenger side and ripped my soft top away from my front drip rail retainer. Can i use some fabric glue to glue this back together? It looks like its sewn on. Any advice would be great!

 

You've got the 07-09 tuck style and your friend was familiar with the 10+ cable style. You could try gluing it but really.....you should take this opportunity to upgrade and allow someone else to take on the project as a trail top where it doesn't matter if it leaks. I can't see glue holding up to the buffeting on the highway.
