I passed the 2000 mile mark yesterday so I thought it would be good to run the JK a little faster. I hit 80+ on a nice new strech of freeway with very little traffic. It handled the lane changes, bumps, and dips without any weird behavior. It was about +4F the stock tires were great!

I have to admit because it's been so darn cold in MN this year I've taken it easy with my new JK. I don't normally drive much over 65 but some times it's good to see what a I'm driving can do. It's been 30 years sense I've been above 100 mph, except in a plane ;-)

you must have a 2-door. I can barley get this 4-door to 80 with a cold air intake.

We got the 07JK 4dr. for the wife back in Dec06, and she loves it. She has about 9600 miles on hers, and it does handle nice. Prior to the JK she had a 99XJ, and prior to that a 96 Saturn. Although all were purchased new, she has put more miles per annum on the JK then the others.
When she had the Saturn, it was like winters coming soon, hope we don't get alot of snow. With the XJ it was, well winters coming, we might get some deep snow this year. Since the JK it's, If we get snow this year, I hope it's alot, that way there won't be alot of people on the road when I'm out there.
God what next. Will she take it in the mud??????
Really though I've had a 94XJ since Mar94. I was impressed with how well it handled, and that was before I lifted it 6", put 33's and lockers front and rear. Mine is a beast and I just lock it up to blast through the snow. With her JK, I found it went everywhere mine did, but with much more finisse. Hers just seems to crawl right through.

I have a 2007 X unlimited.. stock. I drive it 85+ all the time on the interstate... has no problems. Dont tell anyone.. but I've come close to topping it off at the 112 mph mark.. hard to tell since they only register 100.. but still did fine in the 3 digit zone.
