A Rubi 10A for $47,5k???
Buddy of mine is looking at new rigs. He found a 10A, 3k miles, trade in with 20" rock stars, 35" tires Nitto trails, and an RE 2.5" budget boost (no track bar SS or CA's)I think $43k should be the limit. Thoughts? Opinions?

Can't imagine spending that much on a jeep. I'd buy a sport and mod it how I wanted for much less, but hey it's his money. Tell him to take of the rockstars first thing.

It would depend on the factory options. The lift and wheels are basically worthless. 3k and 20's I'd say it was probably never wheeled it so that is a plus. You could order the 10a's with numerous options and they ranged from 42 ish to about $50,000.00 so if it has all of the options it could be worth the money.

Yeah, I'm with all the commentary here. He won't be taking it off road anyway. It'll be a street queen. But still, I pretty much told him to negotiate a deal on a stock Rubi (he has a Sahara and doesn't want that again), and he could have the lift and his choice of wheels.

I'm all about getting what you want, regardless of what you do with it. But hell, don't get ripped off in the process.

well, cheddar, aka money, makes people do strange things. He isn't concerned about the mpg, work pays for the gas. He also gets a car allowance of $600/mo. I'm all about getting what you want, regardless of what you do with it. But hell, don't get ripped off in the process.
