Sahara tan is my favorite jk color. It even looks great with the color matched hard top and fenders. Your jk has a timeless color that will always look cool, especially with black wheels. Nothing wrong with the silver on the 10a... hell, I bought a billet silver a few months ago. But the tan is sweet. When u found my billet, I also found a used early 2012 sahara tan. The miles were too high and I didn't want to risk bring out of the factory warranty abd have the head issue that was sort of common on the early 2012's
As for your buddy, if he had his mind on the 10a, then there is probably no turning back. Just have him take of the center caps on the rockstars.

I would agree however, I bought my Rubi new. Sahara tan, in 2012. I paid $42k, out the door, fully loaded, literally every option and dropped another $4500 in lift, tires and wheels. When I took it to get the alignment done, the owner of the garage offered me $50k not he spot. I declined, he went another $2k, I declined. I could have made a few bennies on it, but I like it too much. Not to mention, there aren't many tan Rubicons out there.
