Default Rust Advice for First Time Buyer

First time buyer here and have always wanted a manual. Received the pictures here from a 2010 Wrangler Unlimited Sahara. Obviously the gas tank skid plate has some issues but also noticed the drag link. Just curious of any experienced takes on these.

Thanks in advance!

Strange that everything else doesn't look more like the DL and gas skid/hanger. I can't tell if it's the picture quality or if things like the front sway bar and some of those control arm mounts look like they've been bed-coated. I'd tell you that with the number of JKs out there for sale, I'd focus on something from the south that has zero rust issues at all. That jeep has just enough going on that it raises a red flag for me, even though it doesn't seem "that bad".

Take it in and get it coated with Rust Check. They drill the doors, pillars, rocker panels, etc etc and literally fill that thing with gooey stuff that leaks out for about 3 weeks. But it works and you take it in for an annual top up. It looks like Franklin, NC is closest to you. This is the only product for used vehicles and it is not that expensive. $300 or so first application then $100 each year after that. My 2007 RAM3500 5.9 diesel got it brand new and it still looked brand new when I sold it in 2017. And I drove in salt areas.
