Default A sad day, I finally did it....

I gave up my JK, which I've nurtured, watched grow, been through some rocky times, all the highs, the lows. But with gas prices the way they are and my wife constantly nagging me, I let her park her truck and I gave her my JK. She did let me buy a TJ to build today so that took some of the sting out of it. She also agreed to let me wheel it still, and continue to mod it. So I guess it could be worse.

The bad thing about it was when I was going into town this evening to eat supper, she was in front of me (I had to go somewhere else afterwards) I'm following behind and see a modded YJ headed our way, he sticks his hand out and gives her a hearty Jeep wave and I'm thinking "cool", then gets past her and sees me and pulls his hand back in. That stung. She noticed and has been razzing me about not getting waved at. Not being modded, etc. I'll show her.

yeah, for us married folk, we need to comprimise on some things, like i cannot do any major mods until after 5000 miles, almost half way there.

back on topic.....
at least you still have a jeep to play with and another to look at as well.

That's why I'm not married!

I tell the girls I date; You are in a 4x4 Jeep with a guy that carries a .40 Smith and Wesson, a shovel, and a flashlight,,, you won't be missed!

I live in Vegas so,,,,? We all know about the holes in the desert!

Really I'm a nice guy when you get to know me!

2500 HD crew cab 4x4, she mainly just wanted the jeep. Gives me an excuse to get another jeep. It's all good.
