There's a thread about X owners regretting not getting a Rubi, and Rubi owners regretting not getting an X. Just wanted Sahara owners to get some thread time..

Never considered a Kia, but I was considering a Volvo V50 Turbo or Mitsubishi Sportback Turbo. Settled on another Jeep and am as happy as a clam!

 

mechanically the X and Sahara are identical....

edit: I sure as hell hope not. a Kia? really? The wrangler is the complete opposite.

 

Id take my Sahara over your X any day.....

 

not sure where the comparison came from, but the only other vehicle that even crossed my mind was another GC limited. i had a 2005 with the 5.7L hemi and it kicked ass. love range rovers too. i want to pay this jeep off, put it in the garage and buy a range rover for my dd.

either way...for those that wanted a Rubi and didn't want to splurge on one... my guess is in about another year or so when all the soccer moms, and posers that purchased them as a status symbol without any concept of what a 4:1 t-case is, or what those buttons on the dash are for will come to the realization that that wasn't the ride for them, too rough on their bottums with poor mileage to boot...well, they'll decide to trade 'em in for something more to their liking without having ever taking them offroad and guys out there will hopefully be able to scoop wicked deals on these barely used pavement princesses....I hope anyways

 

I love my Sahara - the painted fenders are the most commented on item...

 

mine are sitting in my attic... I dont get too many compliments on them... although I sometimes feel like mounting them back on
