Default Seat covers? Durable/ water (proof?)

I know nothing is waterproof, but durable and water resistant will work, I’ve read about seat covers on here before, but couldn’t find the posts on them I thought I remembered.
I have the cheap neoprene Smittybilt seat covers now and don’t like the way they don’t hold up, they looked nice and fit well, but I’m in and out with stuff in my back pockets a lot and have worn the drivers seat pretty well,
I think I need to stay away from neoprene seat covers just because of my abuse to seats, what is a washable durable water proof/ resistant seat cover that fits well and doesn’t have that bunching up or sliding feeling,

almost forgot, I don’t want to break the bank on fancy custom stuff, but don’t mind paying for something that will hold up, I’m thinking around the 3 to 400 $ point something quality should be out there, but willing to look at others if they do actually hold up

I've had my Marathon seat covers on for almost 10 years now. The design is a little lighter from wear but they have held up great and fit tight. Lots of work to put them in with all the straps underneath the seats though.

Personally I would not recommend smittybuilt seat covers to anyone, even though I am rough on seats from tools in pockets,

will look into the marathon covers

Check out Bartact (Trek Armor). Nice covers, I like em. But no experience with any others for comparison.

Here is their waterproof disclaimer

*Note: Although our seat cover fabric is waterproof, we do not claim that the seat covers are 100% waterproof due to small openings created by the stitching involved in creating a form-fitting seat cover.

+1. These are great fitment, hold up great and are easy to clean. Only downside I can think of is cost.

I started with the basic fabric seat in my '13. In fact, I specifically did not want leather; however, that fabric and carpet was a magnet for dog fur and it was the biggest pain to clean. After 2 years I scored a brand new set of Katzkin leather for $415 and it was a whole new world. I loved it and it was the right price; however, after 5+ years that driver's seat bolster seam was really worn from me sliding in and out. I always watch CL in my area and found a practically brand new set of Bartact covers for half price, which was the right price for me. I have been very happy with the fitment of these covers, the general look, and they really aren't hard to clean the Texas dust/dirt off of when need be. My top is off a lot and they haven't faded at all that I can tell, and I'm comparing that to the Molle pockets and such that I have attached to the back of the seats that HAVE faded a good bit. The seat covers and mollle products started out looking the same and are definitely not now.
