Have you considered moving closer to your job? If it's a long term career you're currently working, it may be something you want to do.

I finally paid my 08 off that I bought in 09 off a few months ago. I've been spending that car payment on mods now. I've been thinking of getting a dart or a cruze or something in that category. Plus I never plan on putting my doors or top back on. So when it rains or I have one of those mornings the jeep won't crank I have another option & won't be late for work.

Not an option. It's a well paying job, but not worth moving closer, especially since it's only 60 mile roundtrip. I bought my house not even 2 years ago and like the area I'm in now. I'll choose my home and my location over my jk any day.

Well, it's not as bad as some of these other guys have it. 60 miles sucks, but it could be worse. 9 miles each way is how far my previous job was and I definitely miss it -- not the job just the commute.

Good luck with your search, go with the 90s civic. You'll probably be able to sell it in a few years for the same price you paid for it.

Very true. Someone's always looking to sup them up. Thanks.

I like the motorcycle idea....especially if you are in Florida.

My commute is short, but I commuted basically everyday on my bike.

However, when my first born came into the world (2 months ago), I didn't ride. But come next year, I will be back to commuting on my motorycle. My insurance is $75 a year, and it is nice to be able to fill up the gas tank for $10.00....like it is 1995 all over again!

You obviously don't live here in Fl :-) it rains everyday and is hot as hell. Plus traffic is terrible. :-)
