Was wondering how effective people thought a truck club would be for deterrence?

Also, I remember a while back someone mentioned some kind of shifter lock/u-lock and I had not heard of that? Does anyone know anything about that?

Anything is better than nothing. A Club can be fairly easy to defeat, but it still makes the cars around you a more attractive option. Unfortunately, anything that requires action by the owner, such as a club or shifter/brake lock, tends to be used a lot for the first week or two. After that, usage drops to only on occassion.

You might also want to look at the Autotaser. It hasn't been made for about 10years, but they still show up on e-bay. Its like a Club but contains a motion activated Taser.

probably one of the reasons they aren't made anymore.
I know I would have been seen doin' the electric jigg if I had one.

 

Kind of reminds me when my Dad wnated to hook up a commercial microwave emitter to the front door after had been broken into twice in 3 months. He thought it'd be great to come home and just have to sweep up the ashes
