Remember back when Harley Davidson was lobbying for tariffs put on japanese imported motorcycles so there floundering company could make a come back?
And then just a few years ago HD was bitching because the japanese where charging tariffs on them.

And as far as buying american, I read that there where more parts on a honda goldwing than the HD road king made in America (Don't remember the year).

If you really want to buy American try a Polaris Victory motorcycle.
The only foriegn parts on them are the Italian brakes.
