Default Simoniz Glass Coat Q

So you know it's bad when you have to doubt your dealer, but I have a Q. After researching the infor ont he Simoniz glass coat they always offer I decided to get it. Living in the city now and won't be able to watch it as much, so anything to protect my paint as long as possible is worth it, plus i got it for less than half of their asking price (my god dealerships jack up the prices on this) my question though, i felt great and still do feel great about the purchase but after the finance guy "accidentally charged me 7.9% financiang because taht was the best rate" and "forgot about the current jeep rate incentives", don't worry I got that fixed, I am concerned that they may just pocket the money I paid to have the glass coat applied. So my question is...How can you tell if it was applied or not, do I have to take it to a body shop and ask them? I know this seems ridiculous to hae to be concerned with but the finance guy just rubbed me the wrong way like crazy. Plus knowing how cheap I got the vehicle for and all the other little things i finagled in to the deal, makes me question that the dealer wouldn't try to get away with some things

Lick it. If it tastes like strawberries or schnozberries then you know Willy Wonka did his work!

Oh...wrong forum.

I honestly have no idea? I think I remember hearing that all vehicles have this treatment put on and its a way for them to get extra money but severely upcharging it. For those that are able to "negotiate" getting it free or opting out...its no biggy, cause the next person will end up paying for his and the person who opted out.

huh interesting I poked around a lot before I pulled the trigger and didn't see anything like that, do you have a link or anything? I'd be a bit red faced if that was the case I thought I had all my basis covered before I went in to that place
