So annoyying....
I have a 2013 jk Sahara. Shortly after I took the sidesteps off the jeep due to my legs kept rubbing them it was a pain so I took then off. Now I have multiple chips on my rear door hinges and on my stock flares.
I was wondering if anyone else had this problem, I'd rather not put mudflaps on.. Does anyone else have these problems?

Mine are too on my 10 JKUR but I put the jeep mud flaps on the front fenders and that reduced the chipping significantly. However those mud flaps are pretty ridged and not the best for 4 wheeling

That's what I feared, spending money on flaps just to have them break. I suppose this is something I'll have to live with. I even have chipping inside the handle on the rear drive door
The flaps are rock solid. The problem is when they bend or catch on rocks it stretches the fasteners on the fenders in turn loosening the fenders. I recently replaced the fasteners on the fenders (not that hard and cheap fix)

i havent even had my jkur a month yet and it was readily apparent that i need to flap up when daily driving, the pin striping is rampant....
on the bright side you can always just pop them off to go 4 wheelin, i mean if you have rock crawling rims anyway (ones you dont mind smashing the crap out of) youre already wheel swapping, and the flaps are right there at the same time and just use screws.

Maybe I'm not as sensitive to this issue. But following every other vehicle I have ever modified where the tires are further out than the body, this happens. With that said, a stock jeep (Rubi or not) has this issue. After putting on different wheels and tires, it will get worse. The side steps aren't going to stop it entirely. I have the same chips but it doesn't bother me.
