So thankful for my JK
I am sure this has been said before, but....
As with a great deal of us in these current times, I am constantly hounded by the grim reality that I may soon lose my job. This for me would mean losing my home, my JK, my wife's JK and putting myself, my wife and three daughters into a whole world of hurt. Something I would not wish upon my worst enemies.
So anyways, I finished work one morning (I work nights), following a night full of new layoff rumors that were being spread thicker than Nutella on my daughters sandwich, I was feeling pretty crummy.
I sat down and worked out our finances and that made me feel even worse.
So there I was, feeling almost Rock Bottom...scared senseless of what could be, of what would happen to us. I actually began to shake and felt sick to my stomach. I wanted to throw up.
I glanced out the window to see a bright, sunny, cloudless day being born.
Without another thought, I found myself running to my garage where I hastely removed the soft-top from the JK and hit the road. Withing 30 mins is was on a dusty dirt road with the satellite Radio blaring nice n loud. 20 mins later I found a few offroad trails to explore...this is where I spent most of the day.
I drove home, taking the long scenic route, getting a wave from the ocasional Jeep, the wind blowing throw my tuffs of hair, noticing envious onlookers gawking...suddenly, I realized how damn good I felt.
My JK really is helping me through tough times...or what could be tough times.
Right now, I am making plans to help secure a roof over my families head and even more so, to try and make sure my JK never leaves my side. I so need it.
Just wanted to share.

Your not alone pal! Just worry about things you have control over.Do your job the best you know how, give your family all the love you can, and when feeling down go for a ride. Hang in there!
