Question Soft top?

Hey all,

Sorry if this is in the wrong spot, theres so many to choose from haha

What does everyone reccomend price and quality wise for a soft top? Ive been looking around and of course mopar is the most expensive. Bestop looks like better prices but they have the sailcloth and the supertop and a few others.

Reccomendations? Suggestions? etc?

I have an 09 X 2 door with full doors and a hard top right now.

You shouldn't have any trouble finding a new/nearly new softtop from someone who bought a Jeep that has dual tops. They go for about $500-600, so you should use that number as you shop around. Check the for sale threads, or make a WTB posting yourself.

Just be patient, and you will find one at a good price.

I waited almost 16 months......I just bought a soft top, new, still in the boxes for less than $500.

OEM original is the only way I have had 7+ soft top jeeps over the years and my share of after market tops and original has always been the best, I think all soft tops original or aftermarket will have some kind of issue.
I just sold (today) a 30 day old black 2 door soft top w/ dark tint Complete for $450 +shipping so there are deals to be had just don’t get in a hurry.
Good luck

Exactly, be patient I had a guy in town approach me and asked if I wanted a spare factory softop. I got a never used unlimited softop with tinted windows and rails which were still in the factory box for $200 CDN. Even though I have the dual top I figured what the heck to have a spare softop or spare parts for our other top made sense just in case the top rips or windows get cut..etc.
