soft top problem

Default soft top problem

Anyone having a problem seating that little right angle strip that lays down the outsise of the door. (bad description) Basically the front of the soft top window that is supose to be caught in the door when closed keeps popping out at the top... Any tips on this

pull down on that whole lip as you tuck it in. if it's popping out, it's up too high. i had that same problem early on. now i'm in the habit of getting the zipper started, then pulling downward on that thing as i tuck it in from top to bottom before finishing the zipper.

When you're putting the window back on, only zip it on the top side. Then go ahead and set the tongue on the bottom in the groove all the way. Before you finish zipping the window, grab hold of the part you're having problem with and give it a good tug and you should feel the window slide forward a little bit. It makes it lots easier to set it. Finally, zip the window the rest of the way.

Thnaks for the tips... took a little from both posts and boom! all set... not to mention windows are as tight as a drum!
