As I was unzipping the rear window of my 2012 JK today, the zipper got out of alingment and the only way to get it off and fix it was to remove the little silver clips at the end of the one side and then take the zipper part off completely and realign it. Only issue is now I cant seem the get the zipper attachment back on to the zipper seams.

Is this something that should be fixed easily (and covered by the warranty) at the dealer?

Needlenose pliers. Just opened the clip a little.

 

I have issues with my rear window zippers also and my JK isn't a month old.

Getting the back window out is the most frustrating part of removing the top. Those two zippers together suck trying to get undone.

 

I had this problem and they had to cut the window to fix and ordered me a new one. But since you fixed it that way don't know what they'll do.
