Default Soft Tops

I'm sure there's a thread for this, but I couldn't find it. How many of you have a soft top and live in a snowy winter state? I'm thinking about getting another JK - Unlimited this time and really like the looks of the soft top and versatility of it, instead of the Freedom Top. This would be my DD. I don't think I want to do the dual tops, I would either go with one top or another. Thanks for your input

I've used my soft top up in the snowy parts of northern Arizona a few times. What type of infor are you looking for?

I did it for 7 years in my tj in the mountains of Western pa. It's not cold, but it does suck keeping ice and road/salt debris off the windows so you can see. You can't scrape soft windows and you can't just use a gas station squeegee on them either. Now that I have a hard top and defroster, you couldn't pay me to run the soft top in winter. The ht is just so much more convenient.

Dual tops really are the way to go if you can.

I have both- but love the soft top, but with snowboards being oversized, hard top is ideal for me. I have a board rack bolted to the roof. I suppose I could still carry boards on my roof with a soft top if I owned a gobi or some sort of rack system.. But I don't have the extra $$$$ for something like that. If I had to pick one over the other till I could afford to have both.. I'd go hardtop first.
