Sold it :(
It's been gone for a few months now. My husband and I decided to sell the JK soon after we found out we were expecting out first child. Got something with smaller payments and with four doors.
Never in a million years did I expect to miss the JK as much as I do. Every time it snows, every time I go down a bumpy road, and how I can't offroad in my stupid Mazda.
Some day I will own another!
My apologies for the randomness of this post, I figured this place would be the only place that would understand my pain, lol

Sorry to hear that. Too bad you couldn't have found a good deal on a used Unlimited. Sounds like you miss your Jeep. Congrats on the expecting child though.

Sorry to hear about having to give up your Jeep. Just look at this way, hopefully when you are ready/able to get another one, hopefully you'll have one with some of the kinks worked out.
3 car seats in the back...

And when you have more than 3 kids and like them all to come including your spouse.

Can't help with the payment thing, other than a 6 year payment plan, but I can give you hope/ideas on the kids thing.
A lot of people bad mouth the "tradition" and the 4 doors, but without the 4 door option, I wouldn't/couldn't be back in a Jeep Wrangler. What fun would it be to not be able to take my whole family.

I said that about my YJ. I had it for 12 years and sold it to a friend
who wanted to build it up to a trailer queen rock crawler.
I had a galant for my DD. so I made the mistake of Money over Jeep.
The galant went for over 260,000 miles of trouble free goodness and would still
be going if I had changed the timing belt when I needed to. that thing was awsome, it just went forever. It got synthetic oil from day 1 and I think that is why that car lasted so long.
Then I got a 2000 crew cab dakota. Had it for 2 years. I only once filled the entire bed with split wood for my house. The rest of the times I hauled something it was for someone else.
Then I came back to the Jeep.
I couldn't stand life without one. 3 years was too long.

So sorry to hear that you had to sell your jeep
hopefully someday you'll be able to get an Unlmited and solve both the jeep as well as the extra seating issues

I can totally understand. I had 3 different jeeps, they I got the bug for a nice sedan. So I went to a 3 series BMW, it was awesome, but 1 year later I was at the Jeep dealership ordering my JK 4 door. Now I know if I ever have a non-Jeep as a DD, I will still have a Jeep in the garage. For a family, the practicality of the 4 door is tough to beat.
