same crap happened to me a few months into owning my Jeep. It was 1:30am-ish. I was hanging out at my buddies house and my jeep was parked in front of his house. My front bumper was parked close enough to the car in front of me to have the front bumper pretty well hidden if just cruising by. I liked the plain front bumper look, but Chicago would like to think differently, haha.

However, I left the house 1:30ish as stated above and the ticket was given roughly 1:27am. If I only left a few minutes earlier

I feel your pain, but get that plate on there ASAP or else that meter maid is gonna be a consistent pain in your butt.

I'm not really that worried about it. The meter maid can have her fun (it's probably a guy.... but I like calling him "her" ).

My Jeep has been parked out front on my street for almost 2 years without a plate. I have the front one. I'll just do what I did with my explorer-- velcro it on and get it signed off.

This is will be "no front plate" ticket #3 for me... although it's a first for the JK!

Thank God I live in a no-front-plate state.

People can bad-mouth Alabama all they want, but we still have most of the freedoms the rest of the country has given away to their local and state governments (not to mention peaches so juicy they make your elbow sticky!)
