Speculation Time
Ok -- People who bought earlier missed out on the Lifetime Warranty -- we all know that... I'm just sitting -- on my perch like an owl waiting to strike... Best interest rate I can get from Jeep is 6.84% -- best pricing I can get so far is invoice (I want a '08 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Sahara 4 door)... Current incentives that Jeep are offering (nothing on the Wrangler except for a lease) expire on Oct 31 (in my region at least) -- anyone out there feel as though there might be something coming - either "cash back" or low finance rates? Or ANY other suggestions to get a lower price? Thanks to all!
Try working with a bank, or preferably, a credit union, to get a better interest rate. As far as Jeep further "incentivizing" (stupid buzzwords!) the Wrangler, I honestly wouldn't hold my breath if I were you. If they DO come up with something like special financing or rebates, I wouldn't expect those to apply to the Wrangler.
Just like GM always excludes the Corvette and whatever "hot" sellers they have, and Chrysler always excludes the SRT line-up and its other "hot" sellers, you should expect the Wrangler to fall into this latter "hot seller" category and not have any generous incentives...

This has nothing to do with Jeep but the local dealer is offering up to $7,000 payoff on your credit cards or $7,000 cash back once you make your deal and purchase one on all vehicles new and used including Wranglers. This is the only thing I know of that would be available on a Wrangler. Typically Jeep does not include Wranglers in any special offers however some dealers do it on the local level.
I wouldn't wait it out in the hope that Jeep will put cash on the hood of the Wrangler anytime soon. There are backorders for some models, and all are selling very well. In fact, I cannot remember Jeep really putting a lot of rebates on the TJ either. When I bought my 02, I think I got $500 rebate, and it was late in the model year. The Wrangler has never been like other vehicles (such as the Commander) where the rebates get fairly hefty.
I'm pretty sure there were no incentives on the TJ until late 2004 model year. So If you want to wait until 2014 you might get a deal.... The best they ever did on TJ was 2.9 for 24 months 3.9 36 moths and 4.9 48 months. with 1000 for financing through Chrysler and 1000 cash incentive.
go out and get it already. you're lucky to get invoice.
