I went to the dealer today and asked for my money back for the Mopar 4" lift kit. Confused the dealer asked why.
(me) I hear the manufacturer of the lift is out of business.
(dealer) No, supper lift makes the lift.
(me) ok. So if a bolt on a aftermarket lift will it void the warranty?
(dealer) yes. If you brake anything on the lift we do not warranty it.
(me) lol. Ok if I drake a part on the Mopar life will you fix it?
(dealer) No
(me) so if I put on a aftermarket lift, and my transmission go's. Will you fix it under warranty?
(dealer) yes
(me) ok give me my money back!!!!!
1.) They will not fix a Mopar 4" kit unless it's a default.
2.) if I get a aftermarket kit they still cover my warranty. Not the kit. Which makes full sense. They try to make it sound if you put a kit on you warranty is gone. The warranty is only gone from the aftermarket parts.
Thank you all for your help.
My next part. Lol. Ranco 4" long arm kit???

Has anyone let the dealer program the jeep for larger tires? I was going to get the superchip but it will void the warranty. Well that's what the dealer told me.

How is your jeep running with just having it programed for tires only?
Get the Superchips and program it back to stock whenever you bring it back for service.. That's what I do and have never had a problem.

What do you do about speedometer? Just run it without? Then when you get home reprogram it.
Should I keep my old stock tires? So if I need service work, just put the stock back on.
I'm putting 35x12.50R17 on it.

The Mopar 2in lift is the one made by Superlift. The Mopar 4.5 kit is the RE one. You said 4in, so I assumed it was the RE one.
You could get the same Superlift kit for around $750 that they sell at an inflated price. Their front trackbar is a POS though.
When you buy a lift from a manf. most have pretty good warranties on their parts.
If you buy one stamped Mopar and its made by Superlift/ RE, no warranty on the lift. Isn't that nice.
Its a mind screw with these guys.

Just mad at the BS part of it. Making it sound like if you put ANY aftermarket part on your jeep your warranty is over with..
Now I know after miner interrogation on the parts department.. LOL.. Not the case.

Your speedometer will be reading lower than actual speed. Don't go through the hassle of keeping your stock tires just for a trip to the dealer. Suggest getting a speed vs. tach reading for a couple of speeds after the big tires and chip(ie 40mph =1500 rpm, 55mph =1700rpm). then for the trip to the dealer, use tach as indicator of how fast your going.

That dealer lied to you.
