As for the anti siphon screen, I took a hose and it went to the bottom of the tank. I wonder if they knocked loose and it's in the bottom of the tank.

be careful with the locking gas caps- in '73/74 during the REAL fuel crisis and gas prices spiked they stole your gas with a screwdriver. Locking cap? they punched a hole in your tank and stole it that way.....P.S. call the cops if you spot somebody getting your gas. We would all like to send them to hell with a barbed wire enema but our court system will bury you if you hurt or threaten the punks.
