Exclamation Storage area.

I got into my storage area today to look for my gloves, and they had mildew on them I also had a plastic ziploc bag that had moisture in it. Surely this area isn't airtight, so why should it have done this? Anybody else had this happen? In case you're not sure where I mean; it's the area that's more towards the front when you lift up the door that covers the jack. BTW. This door has to be flat (closed) when you slam the back gate shut. Ask me how I know.

Rube spray up underneath the rear floorpan of your jeep with a garden hose for 3-4 minutes and check inside for seam leakage. Sometimes they leak from the bottom rather than the top. You might be getting a drop or two from your tailgate window. It wouldn't take but a few drops getting into the rear cubby to cause the condensation issues you are describing. Just a thought.

One simple question is the plug in? Another comment is that area if it gets wet is hell to dry out as the carpet in that area seems to hold water a lot longer. I got rained in and the footwells dried the next day while (even witht he lid removed) it took a couple for that area to dry.

Mine had a similar problem until the dealership replaced the seal around the rear window (hard top). Now it seems fine.

The only time mine was wet, was when I only had the bikini top on, and we had a rain storm. Other than that mine stays dry. This on an 07 4dr soft top.
