Default Storage Methods

I would like to see where everyone stores their tools, parts, etc. inside their Jeep. There are so many different products out there but would like to here some reviews and ideas. Pictures please.

How deep is that and did you make it yourself? Looks out of the way and blends in quite well!

I really like that custom storage solution. I have a 2 door and children, so I will always be plagued with poor storage. Thank God for storage racks and offroad trailers....

I had a friend that used ronjenx thread (linked above, and thanks!!) and made one out of 2x6 and plywood. I thought it was gonna turn out like crap, and instead was really impressed....so much so that I made one myself. 2x6 was a bit tall for me, so I shaved an inch off. I think I have maybe $80 in mine for 2x6, 1 sheet of plywood, fabric to make it look purty, and spray adhesive to bond the fabric. It is by far one of the best mods I've done as it holds all my tools for wheelin', and provides a flat surface for a quick overnight camp during a trip. I used the 4 original tie down locations so didn't even have to drill a hole in the tub.

Mine would be better made out of metal stud and some diamond plate, but they plywood has held up good for a couple years now, and has even weathered a few dousings from being caught topless in storms.

Online you can get some storage boxes and other methods but they want an arm and a leg for them. If I could just make one for $100 I would be happy. Doesn't seem to be that difficult form what I'm seeing.

These aren't great pictures, and by no means a nice write up like ronjenx, but here are a couple shots along the way of what I did. I'll try to take a few pictures of the final product tonight and slap em on here. It is as nice as some $600 storage system....probably not, but it works great for me. You can see the 4 places I used "L" brackets to bolt it to to the original tie down locations. I already had a quadratec mat for the rear which actually concealed the whole thing even more.
