I filled up my OEM airbox with mud before the Snorkel
So how does one get out of this situation? Was your Jeep running ok and you just cleaned up after wheeling or did you have to stop on the trail after the 'incident'?
you don't have to lie to us, we aren't your dealer. Was it really by accident?! Or did it end up being bigger than it looked?
My mechanic said he is going to put the original box back on it before he does anything. I came around a bend and the puddle was right in front of me. We had some serious rain and a few incidents of flash flooding and it looked like the sewer back up onto the road. Effin sucks cause I am leaving for vacation tongiht (thankfully in the Envoy) but the Bantam Jeep Fest is in three weeks. Doubt it will be back on the road by then.
I talked to my buddy who runs the service dept at a different Jeep Dealer and he said there is no way Jeep will warranty it. He said insurance will more than likely cover it though.
