T-Bone dinner!
I was doing about 35 and she was at the stop sign. The road was wet, I think that was the only reason I didn't flip. As I approached the intersection, I noticed she wasn't looking my way (to the left) when she started pulling out. I should have anticipated this since I am a motorcycle rider but I didn't. It was too late to brake so I swerved to the left lane to get away from her and I swear she floored it. She hit the passenger side front wheel, ripped the side step off and the brunt of the collision was taken by my rear tire. I have a pretty nasty dent in the tub between the door and rear wheel. I think the rear rim is bent. The fender flare also came off.
The JK took one hell of a hit. I probably could have driven it but I didn't want to chance.
BTW, the insurance company I quoted was her insurance carrier. If you ever have an unfortunate fender bender and they are the other persons carrier, get them to call in front of you immediately to admit responsibility or it will be a fight.

The only time I had trouble with the other driver's insurance company I called mine and let them handle it. I don't know who your company is but a lot of them if you have full coverage will go ahead and fix the damages (minus your deductable), pay medical, and then go after the other insurance company and in the end send you a check for the deductable. It's worth asking them about versus fighting with a company that could care less about you.
Well, back on topic - PWERMKER - glad to hear you're ok. Sounds like a lot of damage though... hopefully you might get a new one.
Glad to hear you're okay. Lots of JK's getting T-Boned on here, eh? (At least none have spontaneously combusted in a while).
Save yourself the trouble and just file through your company. They'll do all the fighting, and you wont pay a dime.
