Taking the plunge, a few ?s...
Hey everyone - first this is a great site and I envy all of you west coasters that have the wilderness as your playground. The east coast bites!
Talked to a dealer today about getting a 4 dr Unlimited Sport. Just a few questions:
Can you get Mango Tango with the khaki interior? The dealer is telling me no, but the Jeep website is letting me select it. As it is theyre telling me theres only 1 Mango within a 2 hr radius equipped the way I want, and it has the gray interior.
If Im reading the brochure correct - the only way to have bluetooth capability is if I get the Uconnect/nav thingie? Then whats the phone button for on the stock stereo?
Im sure Ill come up with more later, but I appreciate your help.

Rausch Creek in PA is pretty good. Sure its not MOAB or the Rockies but you sure can destroy your JK there.
The button? Its for whenever you want to read the "Unconnect not available" message on your radio display.
I'd say pick the options you want from the Jeep website and submit it. Then argue with the dealership about what options are available. I tend to think the salesmen at dealerships know less.

Welcome to the group. I see you're from a beautiful part of the country. If you want a specific equipment package on your Jeep - order it. The best way to get the best price and the options you want, without any extra, is to order.
I love how in the owner's manual under U-Connect it says that this feature isn't available in 2 door or 4 door models! There's either a 1 door model I don't know about or some new Jeep minivan I haven't heard of yet.
Haha, I hope they start making a minivan version when my wife and I start having more kids.
now instead of reading "u-connect not equipped" when i press the button i hear a voice say "U-connect ready".... plus for an extra few bucks you can get iPOD integration...
its easy to install..... the parts cost me about $250 from wyckoff.. took an hour to put it in, and then 1/2 hour shop time to get it star-scanned into service...

I looked at a mango tango 4 dr with the khaki by me. It was the only one. The rest were the gray. It looked nice but I wasn't one way or the other on the interior so it looks like I may get the gray.
Mango tango is a sweet color.
