I wonder if they will end up going this route?

It would be easiest to produce.
Pretty lame for bed space, tho.

I'm confused as to why you guys bought Wranglers when you really wanted a pickup. There are already plenty of pickups to choose from.

ONE: Die Hard Jeep brand lover's, and at the time they bought there were no Jeep trucks offered.
TWO: Their needs changed, as life goes on, don't need to carry four peeps. but more equipment
Three: So on and so forth

Actually my wife drives a Subaru & I have an LJ Rubicon, she wants to drive the Jeep & I have been holding out for a Jeep pickup for several years, if they don't get off their ass I will have to buy a Tacoma.

Thats it, I'm going in... has anyone even mentioned the 2009 Hummer H3T Alpha AWD.(oh no he didn't ) I previously bought a 2005 Tacoma (wicked awesome by the way). But the Hummer's V8 300 HP (14 mpg city) was a head turner. 212.7" length, ample room within quad cab, towing 5900 lbs & 5 ft bed for 36K MSRP. Why mention it.., I hope Jeep matches these specs and builds upon them. Open air design with a Rubicon 4WD suspension and a Hemi.., damn. Once again, I don't need the bed space, but towing 3500 lbs with the Unlimited now, does not appeal to this owner at this time. Just my opinion, I'm not trolling for Hummer haters, I just thought they had a nice idea prior to their demise.

Exactly what a lot of people seem to want out of a Jeep pickup, but I just can't see that happenin'.

If they ditch the stupid spare, offer a rubicon model, install a Hemi, and add two more doors like the unlimited. I'll buy one.

makes no sense to put your money into them,, but like i said,,IMO

My previous vehicle was a Chevy Avalanche and it was hard to give up. If the make some sort of 4dr truck style wrangler I would get one in a heart beat.
