Thngs you'll never do to your Jeep. The critic's thread.
the blacked out look may be overdone now, but chrome was over done in the 80's.
Colds are caused by viruses, not exposure to a non-climate controlled environment. Not everybody lives in a desert, but i do use sun block and wear hats. I bought a vehicle with a removable roof and doors, so excuse me if i use the features i purchased.
What i would never do is purposely take a picture at a 30 degree angle to make it look like i know "what a jeep does"
here, i fixed it for you. Now the man and the trees are perpendicular to the horizon.

Damn, what's with all the hard top hate? I work in a prison. Surprisingly, they don't really build this things in up scale neighborhoods. I like the extra, if imaginary, security the hard top gives. Even if it just makes me the slightly less easy target. I guess to each his own...

I'm tired of the blacked out look, over done..... Chrome is the new black. I hate people who take the doors and top off. You're going to catch a cold or worse. Or here in AZ you'll get sun burnt. This is what a real Jeep does, if you don't like it, you're not very good at Jeeping. <img src="https://www.jk-forum.com/forums/attachment.php?attachmentid=508311"/><img src="https://www.jk-forum.com/forums/attachment.php?attachmentid=508312"/><img src="https://www.jk-forum.com/forums/attachment.php?attachmentid=508313"/><img src="https://www.jk-forum.com/forums/attachment.php?attachmentid=508314"/> Oh yeah, this too.. <img src="https://www.jk-forum.com/forums/attachment.php?attachmentid=508315"/>
I thought chrome and stainless steel parts were kind of neat on my '93 YJ, but to me JK's just don't look right with chrome. I don't like wheels over 18". I hate when I see street tires on a Jeep. Actually, I don't even like most AT tires on a Jeep. I think wide tires on a non-lifted 4-dr. Jeep make it look like a low rider. I like the idea of the frameless soft tops, but think they look terrible, especially the 4-dr. version with the triangle looking back section. And I see Jeeps sometimes that look like they had a lot of expensive parts thrown at them, with no forethought to how the Jeep would turn out.
