Thngs you'll never do to your Jeep. The critic's thread.
The "I will never go offroad in my jeep. I paid too much money for my rig and mods to beat this thing up and scratch the paint" mindset. Christ, trade it in for a PT Cruiser already.
People who act like trail locations are some state secret. Run into that a lot in this area.

Actually, I don't even like most AT tires on a Jeep. I think wide tires on a non-lifted 4-dr. Jeep make it look like a low rider. I like the idea of the frameless soft tops, but think they look terrible, especially the 4-dr. version with the triangle looking back section. And I see Jeeps sometimes that look like they had a lot of expensive parts thrown at them, with no forethought to how the Jeep would turn out.

I see too many jeeps around here that look like they belong in Moab, but will never see a day off road.
Chrome on a jeep makes me want to puke.
I have a 6 speed, 32's, 3:73 gears, a beefed up front suspension, soft top, and a Warn winch on an LOD ArmorLite. This suits my purposes just fine.
The great thing about jeeps is that you can customize them to suit your needs, but going overboard makes you look like an ass.
