Mine needs to go on this weekend before it starts snowing or something. On the drive home from work 45 minutes ago it was -just- above freezing (2 degrees celsus). I've been driving all week with my soft top windows out, rain or shine and people think I'm nuts. I was still fairly warm in the jeep however, that's got to be the best heater ever.

Here in Texas, it's much to hot to drive around topless in the middle of the day. I just took my top of a week ago. Today I like to roasted while sitting at red lights. I did put the removable sections of the Freedom top back on today, but they'll come off again. I just wanted to see how it looked with my new Windjammer and Duster.

How is the windjammer seal in the back with the panels on? How weatherproof is it? I like that look!

The windjammer is weatherproof if you're moving... that's about it. The huge holes on either side are a disappointment. I don't believe that they can't make one that wraps around and encloses the cab. Additionally, I hate the windjammer because you can't really see behind you as there are no side viewing windows (ie, you can't look over your left shoulder when merging because all you see is fabric).

I took the windjammer off 5 minutes after I put it on. Funny, but a friend sent it over and I don't think he ever used it either.

When it got too hot for me, I just cranked up the A/C! That worked fairly well as does the heater for those in the front seat.

haven't been able to put the top down on mine in a while... with all the rain starting to apear almost every night, and the sudden drop from the 80's in the day and 50's in the night is keeping me from going doorless and topless...

hopefully, NC will still be nice and warm (for the most part) in october so i can go topless and door less for my vacation to the outer banks. it'll probably be the last time till next year...

Didn't get my Unlimited X yet. I have been from BG to BX to BG to BX and now back to BG again. I don't know what they are doing in Ohio! I put the top on my 05 Wrangler Sport for the season, that's they way they will get it on the trade in so I'm ready to go. The longer it takes to make my new one the more miles I put on the 05, they have to stick to their trade in price. I'd rather have my new baby than put miles on this one but I love this one too.

Here on Long Island we have had a stretch of non-rain for almost 5 weeks. The few times it did rain were at night or when I was away on business and the JK was garaged. The soft top has been down the entire time and I actually dread having a roof over my head. It's been 50ish in the mornings, but the JK heat is fantastic, I actually had to turn it down! I do just fine with a light sweatshirt and the heat on, and the looks I get are worth it.

My goal is to stay topless through October if possible, then put the hardtop on in early November. Even then, I'll prbably leave the panels off in all but the coldest weather.
