My experience with Harbor Freight is their prices are great but the quality of the products are lacking. I would look for other brands when it comes to a torque wrench like the others that have already been mentioned in this thread. Husky brand (Lowes) has a lifetime over the counter exchange warranty so if you ever have a problem with their product, its on Lowe's dime.

If your not making a living at wrenching and accuracy +/- 4%, it's hard to beat the 1/2" Pittsburg Torque Wrench at Harbor Freight for $16.00 ($20 minus easy to find 20% Off coupon). I have been happy with mine

Regarding calibration, heres a DIY link:

I fully agree. I got a large Harbor Freight special for my lugs and I compared it to my Craftsman and it was off almost 9 lbs.

Now I need to compare my Craftsman against a Snap On.

Craftsman tools are not the best, but they have pretty good quality, a lifetime warranty and a discount club. For occasional use they offer great value.

I got this torque wrench from Sears:
sears.com/shc/s/p_10153_12605_00944642000P?keyword=00944642000

Used it to install my TF kit and it worked out well.

Here at the shop, we have a calibration machine and many Powerbuilt torque wrenches. I can tell you that they are very good and are still calibrated after more than 10 years

I have 3 torque wrenches, all snap-on, and I get them all calibrated once a year.

+1. I got this one from my local Sears: http://www.sears.com/shc/s/p_10153_1...=torque+wrench and its a solid and reliable as you can get, plus its ratcheting which is nice.
