In my fewaccidents in my life, and the daughter having a few. I have always had the tow company pull the vehicle back to my house. That way after the insurance vultures due the damage assessment, I will recover the parts I intend to keep, if necessary. It is my car and my money and time and they typically seem to want to pay for factory replacement specs only. Unless you work it out prior with your premium. Plus you have cds, all the personal stuff that you have to clean out like you just lost a relative. My feelings are I didnt cause the accident I should not have to lose all the add ons and time you spend making it yours. It has always worked out this way. And if they total it, they aren't going to know what was removed anyway. It goes to the junkyard.

Hope everything work out. From the looks of your JEEP that'll buff right out with some elbow grease.

That looks horrible. It is reassuring to see the JK standing strong over the Explorer, Like "I told u don't F with me"!! It will all work out in the end. Good Luck.

At home and finally able to look at the pics. IMHO I think they will fix it. My accident bent the frame, broke the front axle, toasted the grille, fenders, hood, front doors wouldn't open/close properly, both airbags deployed... and estimate was 14K. Doesn't look too bad on yours. GOOD LUCK! Keep us posted.

Wow that's crazy! From the pics i don't see any damage at all on your jeep except the bumper and the truck is upside down. Wild.

Me too.
I was a Navy civilian and nothing made me feel safer than having a bunch of Marines watching out for my ass.
Thanks for your service.
